Full Tilt Poker opened for business in July 2004 and with an aggressive marketing campaign has gradually grown into one of the leading online poker rooms. Full Tilt sponsors some of the biggest names in poker including Howard Lederer, Phil Ivey, Chris Ferguson, John Juanda, Jennifer Harmon and many more. The pro's will often sit in lower limit games too, so that everyone has a chance to play them. There is a Pro Chat in the lobby where you can ask your favorite poker pros questions and also bounty tournaments where you can receive your buyin back for knocking out a Full Tilt Poker pro.
During peak times there can be up to 60,000 tournament players and 10,000 cash game players found at the Full Tilt real money tables. The cash games consist mainly of Limit or No-Limit Texas Hold'em tables.
The software at Full Tilt Poker is excellent with no discernable bugs or problems. Available for both MacIntosh and Windows platforms, the software runs smoothly, quickly, and is easy to navigate. While the cartoonish graphics may not be to everyone's tastes, they do provide a welcome change to the staid visuals found at most other poker rooms. Full Tilt Poker uses the popular dealt method to determine your rakeback. Full Tilt Poker includes tournament fees in your rakeback. Full Tilt Poker also deducts deposit fees, store purchases, tournament overlays and bonuses from your MGR total. Full Tilt Poker also now deducts $11.75 from your MGR for every check you request for cashout. There is also a $25 MGR deduction for every cash transfer cashout. Full Tilt Poker accepts players from the U.S. Full Tilt Poker pays rakeback between the 10th and the 15th for the previous month's play. Full Tilt Poker's policy states that you will be removed from your affiliate if you are inactive for the first 60 days after you create your account. To become an active player you must either deposit $25 or receive a $25 transfer in the first 60 days of your account. Once you have become active you will remain active forever, even if you take extended breaks from playing.
Full Tilt Poker BonusWhen you sign up for Full Tilt Poker rakeback then you will also receive a 100% up to $600 first deposit bonus. The bonus clears at a rate of 16.67 points per $1. For each $1 raked from the pot in a hand that you play one point is earned. For every $16.67 in rake taken from pots that you were dealt in you receive $1 towards your bonus. This makes the bonus by itself worth 54% rakeback at full ring and 36% rakeback at short handed poker tables. You will also receive 27% of the remaining amount in the form of rakeback. This makes your rakeback total at full ring 66% while clearing the bonus and 53% while playing short handed. Keep in mind that while the poker bonus might be less rakeback at short handed the bonus and rakeback will be earned much faster. The bonus releases in increments of $20 unless the bonus is less then $200, then it releases in 10% increments. The bonus may also be cleared while playing tournaments. For every $1 in entry fees you pay you will receive 7 points. This comes to 42% rakeback. When you include the rake back we pay you the amount of rakeback you receive while clearing a bonus is 56%.
