Cake Poker Review
Cake Poker has been online since 2005. They have made a name for themselves in the online poker industry by offering great promotions on a level that you won't even find at the larger poker rooms. Cake Poker welcomes players from around the globe, including the United States.
Cake Poker is a medium size poker room with around 5,000 players at the tables during peak hours. This amount is growing rapidly due to the fantastic promotions that the Cake team are offering. The majority of the action can be found at the Hold'em tables although the Omaha tables are popular as well.
The software at Cake Poker is as realistic as it can get without taking the whole 3D feeling too far. The first thing you will notice at the table is that every character is actually a photographed model. The graphics resemble what we're used to at Poker Rooms, but with greater variation; you can choose between several avatars and let them sit at any chair. Other table features include the usual, such as player notes and visual customizations. As far as the lobby goes, things have improved significantly since the launch. Cake Poker uses the dealt method which is beneficial for serious players. Cake Poker deducts bonuses, deposit fees, items purchased from the Cake Poker store, cash prizes related to their Gold Card 500 and Daily Gold Card Lotteries and all freeroll winnings associated with Gold Chips and Gold Cards. Cake Poker accepts players from the U.S. Cake Poker automatically pays rakeback between the 1st and 3rd for the previous month's play. You can check your rakeback right in the Cake Poker software. Click on My Account and you should see a stats button. Click on this button and you can see stats that are updated multiple times daily.
Cake Poker BonusWhen you sign up for Cake Poker rakeback you will receive a 110% up to $600 bonus on your first deposit. The bonus clears at a rate of 16.67 points per $1. For each $1 raked from the pot in a hand that you play one point is earned. For every $16.67 in rake taken from pots that you were dealt in you receive $1 towards your bonus. This makes the bonus by itself worth 60% rakeback at full ring and 36% rakeback at short handed poker tables. You will also receive 33% rakeback on the remaining amount. This makes your rakeback at full ring 73% while clearing the bonus and 57% while playing short handed. Keep in mind that while the poker bonus might be less rakeback at short handed the bonus and rakeback will be earned much faster. The bonus releases in increments of $10. The bonus can also be cleared while playing tournaments. For every $1 in entry fees you pay you will receive 7 points. This comes to 42% rakeback. When you include the amount of your rake back we pay you the amount of rakeback you receive while clearing a bonus is 59%.

Gold Cards ? Gold Cards are given out randomly after $20 of rake has been collected from the pots.
Gold Chips ? Gold Chips are given out after raking a certain number of points. You automatically receive one Gold Chip when you make your first deposit.
